Biography: 

Ernest Uwayezu is a researcher at University of Rwanda (UR) in the Centre for Geographic information Systems and Remote Sensing (CGIS-UR).  He holds a Bachelor degree in Physical and Human Geography from the University of Rwanda and a Master of Science degree in Geo-information Science and Earth Observation for Land Administration, from the University of Twente, the faculty for Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation, in the Netherlands. Within the Centre GIS-UR, he works as a researcher. The fields of his research interests are Geoinformation dissemination, Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) development, land registration, land tenure security, land policy and land conflicts handling.
